Q: How do I sign up for COMS?
A: If you currently use one of
our e-commerce systems, you will be able to use your
same user ID and password to log into COMS. If you would
like to sign up for COMS, please go to
http://gecdf.com/coms
Q: Does COMS cost anything?
A: There is no additional cost
for using COMS.
Q: What type of reporting does
COMS offer?
A: COMS allows you to view and
compare totals by current month, prior month and current
year. You can also download list pages including Open
Invoices, Principal Due, Charges Due and Payment
Activity.
Q: Are there different payment
options in COMS?
A: Yes. You can make full or
partial payments, and you may future date a payment as
well. You can also reverse a payment prior to payment
instructions being sent to our bank.
Q: Can I (or can my company) have
more than one COMS user?
A: Yes. You can have multiple
users, and each user can have full payment authority or
read-only access. We recommend that you create one ID
per user.
Q: How do I sign up for direct
debit?
A: When you set up your COMS
account, you can sign-up for direct debit by inputting
your bank name and address, routing and account numbers.
Then you can choose to schedule payments yourself, or
automatically withdraw payment amounts by due date.
Q: What is a PIN, and how do I
use it?
A: A PIN is a 4-digit number
that you can use for added security when you make a
payment, or you can opt-out of using a PIN.
Q: Is it easy to search for
invoices?
A: Yes. You can search by
distributor name, manufacturer name, free floor plan
date, invoice date, invoice number, PO number, purchase
date or location.
